Blog N°3: A job you would like to have in the future

Hi, everyone!

I am in my 3rd year of psychology, so I would like to dedicate myself to this career, however, something in which I would like to specialize is legal or clinical, although I am more inclined to legal, it is being a discipline that integrates psychology with law, where I can specialize in different areas such as victimology, penitentiary, criminology and expertise. In the future I would like, in the case that I dedicate myself to legal, to be able to perform penitentiary or expertise, the first being focused on those who are deprived of liberty, I would like to devise plans for reintegration into society, as I consider that it is something that is missing a lot in Chile because they focus on punishing the offender but do not try to improve or make the subject an active and responsible person in society once he has gone through the judicial system. 

One of the reasons why I think I would like to dedicate myself to this is because since I was a teenager I have been very interested in criminology, either by watching series or documentaries on the subject.  

And finally, the skills needed to do this would be to have a psychology degree, diplomas focused on legal psychology and penology, and perhaps a master's degree, also in terms of more innate skills or skills that can be learned, perhaps assertive communication and understanding human action through theories.
